The High Priestess tarot card represents wisdom, knowledge, understanding, serenity, intuition and mystical vision. She is the guardian of the unconscious, mysterious and other realms. The High Priestess is associated with the moon and goddesses like Isis, Artemis, Hecate, Diana and Lilith. I drew inspiration from these various goddesses and historical tarot symbolism to create this artwork of The High Priestess.
About Steed Edwards
Steed was born in Arizona and often hiked through the rich nature of the deserts, mountains and forests. Steed has lived in New York City, coastal Florida and California, currently residing in the Bay Area (Northern California). Fascinated by energies, he is an avid explorer of various cultures, religions, spiritualities, quantum physics, and mythos, and his work reflects a variety of symbolism and metaphors. Steed has a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis.
